Received medical degree from the University of Oxford in 1975 then the Master of Science in Public Health from
University of Singapore in 1979. Completed the Australasian College of Nutritional &Environmental Medicine
Specialist Training Program in Nutritional & Environmental Medicine.

Worked in the Epidemiology Unit at the Ministry of the Environment before lecturing at the department of Social
Medicine & Public Health in the University of Singapore. Currently has own clinical practice at Mt Elizabeth Medical
Centre in Nutritional & Holistic medicine.
