PROF GERARD BODEKER
Editor-in-Chief of the World Health Organization Global Atlas and Adjunct Professor of
Epidemiology at Columbia University, New York

Highly accomplished and internationally acclaimed, this academician is an authority on
Alternative and Complementary Medicine. He is a senior faculty member in public health
in the University of Oxford Medical School and Research Associate at the Oxford
Centre for International Development. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Epidemiology
at Columbia University, New York; and was Chair of the Commonwealth Working Group
on Traditional, Complementary and Alternative Medicine (TCAM).
